FLIGHT SIMULATION

REBELS RUN NOLIMITS 2 ROLLERCOASTER
THIS VIDEO IS CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT
We are continuing to develop and expand our FLIGHT SIMULATION demonstrations, including new 6DOF motion platform videos and application examples.
The six degrees of freedom provided by the platform make it particularly suited to flight simulation, where
aircraft movement can involve changes in attitude, acceleration and direction across multiple axes.
The platform can be used for a wide range of simulated flight environments, including:
-
Fixed-wing aircraft
-
Helicopters
-
Spacecraft and space-flight simulation
-
Military and tactical aviation simulation
-
General aviation
-
Experimental and custom flight simulation
For fixed-wing aircraft, coordinated pitch, roll, yaw and acceleration cues can contribute to the physical sensation of aircraft movement.
Helicopter simulation presents a different motion environment, with rapid changes in attitude, directional movement and vertical motion. The six-axis platform provides the ability to combine these cues into coordinated physical movement.
Space-flight simulation can also make use of six degrees of freedom, particularly where the simulated vehicle operates outside a conventional aircraft environment and changes in orientation and acceleration can occur in multiple directions.
The purpose of the motion system is not to physically reproduce every metre of movement from the virtual aircraft or spacecraft. Instead, motion cueing converts the simulated movement into useful physical cues within the available range of the platform.
This allows the platform to provide responsive and controlled physical feedback while the visual simulation provides the wider sense of movement and environment.
RACING SIMULATION

HYDRIS WIDESCREEN NO LIMITS 2 ROLLERCOASTER
THIS VIDEO IS CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT
We are continuing to develop and expand our RACING SIMULATION demonstrations, including new 6DOF motion platform videos and application examples.
The six degrees of freedom provided by the platform make it well suited to racing simulation, where vehicle acceleration, braking, cornering and changes in vehicle attitude can all contribute to the driving experience.
The platform can be used across a range of simulated driving environments, including:
-
Circuit racing
-
Rally simulation
-
GT and touring cars
-
Open-wheel racing
-
Off-road racing
-
Performance and vehicle dynamics simulation
Racing simulation can combine pitch, roll, yaw, heave, surge and sway to provide physical cues corresponding to acceleration, braking, cornering, kerbs, bumps and changes in terrain.
As with flight simulation, the objective is not to reproduce every physical movement of the virtual vehicle at full scale. Motion cueing translates the simulated vehicle behaviour into controlled physical movement within the available range of the platform.
The result is a responsive motion environment that complements the visual and audio simulation and allows the driver to physically experience changes in the vehicle's behaviour.
ARCADE SIMULATION

ROCKET NO LIMITS 2 ROLLERCOASTER
THIS VIDEO IS CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT
We are continuing to develop and expand our ARCADE SIMULATION demonstrations, including new 6DOF motion platform videos and application examples.
Off-road simulation presents a particularly demanding motion environment, with large changes
in vehicle attitude, terrain and suspension movement.
A 6DOF platform can combine pitch, roll, yaw, heave, surge and sway to reproduce physical cues associated with steep inclines, descents, uneven terrain, suspension movement, acceleration and sudden changes in direction.
This provides a very different motion experience from conventional circuit racing or flight simulation, with the platform responding to the changing attitude and movement of a vehicle travelling across challenging terrain.
As with other applications, motion cueing determines how the simulated vehicle movement is translated into physical platform movement, allowing significant changes in attitude and terrain to be represented within the platform's available movement envelope.
Easy Touchscreen Control for Your Simulator
No more messing with keyboards or complicated computer setups inside the cockpit, everything is controlled right from a simple touch screen.
When you tap a custom button or check a status light on any of the touch screen panels, it talks straight to the simulator’s main computer, instantly triggering your software. This means you can control all your simulator settings, menus, and shortcut commands directly from an easy-to-use display without needing a keyboard.
We can also hook up complex controls—including multiple joysticks, throttles, and pedals (Multi-HOTAS) combined seamlessly using vJoy virtual drivers—so older or picky games recognize all your gear as one smooth, unified system. Plus, you can easily add extra touch screens around the cockpit whenever you want multiple displays to monitor your session.
